
Bahari (she/he/they) is the Mental Health Advocacy Coordinator for Disability Inclusion Society. Bahari is a Mental Health Advocate who draws on experience navigating ADA work and student accommodations at the University of North Texas.
As a long time resident of Denton, Bahari has advocated for marginalized communities. Bahari speaks openly about living with the stigmatization of bipolar disorder and has integrated this perspective in organizing at rallies, protests, and strikes.
Bahari uses she/her and he/him pronouns and utilizes personal experiences and creativity to foster standards of inclusion and equality.

Beth Yturri (she/her) is the is Creative Arts Coordinator for Disability Inclusion Society. Beth is an artist, educator, voter registrar, and active member in the Dallas and Denton art community.
In her professional background as an educator, Beth practices anti-bias/anti-racist and culturally responsive teaching, inclusive and accommodating learning spaces, and social emotional learning and trauma-informed practices. Beth seeks to inspire students (and the greater community) to better understand the world around them, empathize with others, and learn to find and use their voice.

Martha Bergen, Ph.D. (she/her) is the Training and Education Coordinator. She is a Licensed Psychologist and owner of the Center for Compassion and Wellbeing. As a therapist, she focuses on building on strengths and challenging oppressive systems that create barriers to health and wellbeing for many.
Her research and trainings/speaking engagements have centered on diversity issues, in particular related to size, body image, women’s issues, and disability. She is passionate about creating a more affirming and inclusive community and values community outreach and education.

Mateo Granados (he/him) is the Special Events Coordinator for Disability Inclusion Society. He is a poet, activist, and founder of Granatum Short Film Festival. In recent years, he has served as a field organizer with the Beto for Texas Campaign and Editor of The Dentonite. Currently, Mateo volunteers in a communications role for a city councilor and is a field organizer with Move Texas. He is also a founding member of the Denton Bail Fund.
In his free time, Mateo organizes virtual jackbox nights and movie watch parties. Mateo is passionate about disability justice, voting rights, chile de relleno, and soccer. He lives in Denton with his spouse and four pets.
